At Eagle Materials we understand that we operate in commodity industries. As such our operating strategy is to be the lowest-cost producer of each and every product we make.

In simplest terms, we achieve our status as the lowest-cost producer by innovating to use fewer resources than others to make the same commodities, specifically, less energy, mineral resources, paper, water and waste and more recycled resources than other producers. And through relentless and continuous improvement we use fewer resources today than we did just a few years ago.

We make growth investments only in our core businesses and focus only domestically, while not compromising our high standards for new investment. We invest throughout cycles to extend our low cost producer advantages.
